Ravichandran Ashwin has taken the most five-wicket hauls for India in Test cricket. Ashwin surpassed Anil Kumble to sit at the pole position, with 36 five-fers to his name.

Anil Kumble, the highest wicket-taker for India in Tests, grabbed 35 five-fers in 132 matches. Harbhajan Singh occupies the third spot, with 25 five-wicket hauls in his kitty in over 100 matches.

Kapil Dev is the only other bowler with 20+ five-fors. The former captain’s 23 five-wicket hauls are the most by an Indian pacer in Tests.
