Chris Gayle was the first batter to bring up two centuries in a single IPL season. The Universe Boss hammered 102 not out against Kolkata Knight Riders and 107 versus Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2011.
Hashim Amla, Shane Watson, Shikhar Dhawan, and KL Rahul are the other batters with two hundreds in an edition. Interestingly, Dhawan’s centuries came in back-to-back games, while Rahul’s came versus Mumbai Indians.
