Warner surpassed Aaron Finch’s tally to claim the top spot during the 2024 T20 World Cup. Finch, the former T20 World Cup-winning captain, scored 3120 runs in 103 innings. His 172-run knock against Zimbabwe in 2018 still remains the highest individual score in T20Is.
